Trailhead: Park at the wide turn-out on the left side of Germantown Road, 1.3 miles up from Hwy. 30 near the St. John’s Bridge.

Highlights: Challenging descents, a couple of very tough climbs and great views.

Note: The fire lanes are not well-marked, so pay close attention to landmarks and the map.  Watch for hikers and runners.

Seasons: All year, but expect mud in winter and spring.
